BIOGRAPHY

• 1975-80 Studied painting at the academies in Munster and Dusseldof
• 1981 Took a studio in Kirchhellen
• 1981-83 Works and objects related to painting
• 1984 Wall works in plaster
• 1985 First free-standing sculpture
• 1986-87 Development of two-part plaster sculptures/first pairs
• 1990 Use of other materials in addition to plaster (synthetic rubber, metal, wax, grease) Combination of two materials (aluminum-wax, copper-grease)
• 1994 Use of fluids as one of two materials
• 1995 Theoretical engagement with her works to date, division of her sculptures into groups: one material, one form; two materials - one form; two parts - one form; pairs
• 1998 First installation
• 2000 Took a second studio in Nova Scotia, Canada
• 2001 "Planar" wall works (pigments on plaster)
• 2003 First wall sculptures (two materials)
• 2005 Works on sandpaper
